Independence Day crafts

In honor of Independence Day (July 10th), today we made a Bahamian Flag and sponge painted using black, blue and yellow paints. We used our homemade paints and they worked great!

Lee's Bahamian flag. Later on we added a Popsicle stick to the side!

Little Brother had to try it out. No worries, it's non toxic, and totally safe!

Then he tried a little more! I love how kids learn using their senses...not only did he have to touch the paint, he also had to taste it, and i guess smell it at the same time!
